Dec 15th ISES Webinar: COVID-19 and Air Pollution in South Asia

As a result of COVID-related shutdowns, many people around the world experienced blue skies and starry nights for the first time in their lives, albeit for a short time. This, in turn, has led to a renewed focus on need for clean air, especially in low- and middle-income countries. This seminar will present an overview of current research on air pollution and COVID-19 with a focus on South Asia. Key findings from studies to assess changes in air quality during COVID-related lockdowns as well as evidence on potential role of exposure to air pollution in susceptibility and severity of COVID-19 infection will be discussed. Free registration for the event at: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/1066471714405331216
