ISES Europe Chapter Elections
The ISES Europe Chapter is holding nominations and elections for the Board. There are a variety of voluntary roles including councilor and other leadership roles. All positions are two year terms. Below is a list of leadership opportunities:
President (2-year term, beginning 2025):
Lead the society and ensure its effective functioning
Chair board meetings and represent ISES Europe at events (e.g., ISES Global, Regional Chapters, external meetings)
Set priorities for the society, including vision, membership growth, and financial sustainability
Foster collaboration within the society and with external partners
Treasurer (2 year term, beginning 2025):
Manage the society’s financial accounts
Oversee financial reporting, including tax declarations and coordination with ISES Global
Track financial transactions and provide necessary documentation for oversight by the Financial Audit Board
Assist in securing sponsorships and managing donor relations
General Director—Relations, Outreach and Communication (2 year term, beginning 2025):
Build relationships and engage with internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to website updates, membership outreach, and social media communications
Enhance the society’s visibility and strengthen member engagement
Act as a liaison to sister societies (e.g., SETAC, SRA, SOT, NVT, BTS)
General Director—Board Member at Large (2 year term, beginning 2025):
Support the strategic goals of ISES Europe across various domains of exposure science
Contribute to planning and organizing society activities, including meetings, webinars, and collaborative initiatives
Assist with the implementation of the European Strategy on Exposure Science and ongoing capacity-building efforts
Provide input and take initiative on emerging issues relevant to the society's mission

Please include a half page biosketch and a half page motivation letter/statement in one document. The official election announcement will go out in mid-July, and new board members will be introduced during the ISES Workshop in Lisbon in October 2025.
