We do not sell any of the details or information you provided from using our contact forms. Any emails we collect from the contact forms are only used to contact you. We do not sell any email addresses to any 3rd party services.

Personal data is registered in accordance with Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Sensible data, i.e. data on health or data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, and data concerning a person’s sexual relations and sexual orientation is not registered at our website.

Processing and storage

We process personal data strictly confidentially. Personal data will be processed and stored in our secure filing systems. When the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, it is deleted or filed in our records.

Disclosure of information

Information will not be disclosed to anyone without the data subject being informed.

Data insight

Data subjects may contact the ISES-Europe Board at any time to obtain copies of their information stored in tour records or filing systems. The ISES Europe Board is not obliged to hand over copies of information from research projects or from other data subjects.

Correction of information

If the data subject believes that incorrect information has been stored, they may ask the ISES Europe Board to correct the information. The information will be corrected accordingly or it will be noted in the files that the person concerned has asked for a correction. The data subject is entitled to the information being ignored until it is decided which information is correct. Data subjects are also entitled to request that the ISES Europe Board does not use the information if it is no longer needed.


Data subjects have the right to object to the processing of information when the ISES Europe Board processes information according to a legal obligation. This means that the data subject has the right to deny that the ISES Europe Board processes the information.

Withdrawal of consent and the right to erasure of information

If the ISES Europe Board has obtained the consent of a data subject to process information, the data subject may at any time withdraw the consent. If the consent is withdrawn, the ISES Europe Board may not continue to process information after the consent has been withdrawn. The data subject has the right to erasure of information recorded by the ISES Europe Board provided the information is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. The information must be erased also when the data subject withdraws the consent or in case the information has been processed unlawfully by mistake. The data subject has, however, no right to erasure of information that has been filed in the ISES Europe Board's archives in accordance with the Archives Act.

The ISES Europe Board has a data protection officer (DPO). Data subjects may contact the DPO, Peter Fantke via, with any questions relating to the data processing by the ISES Europe Board.


Data subjects are entitled to lodge complaints about the processing of their data to their National Data Protection Agency.
